Phenolic Mounting Resin - Mounting Powder

It is used as a powder for molding materials to wrap or mount small metallurgical specimens / samples such as small bolts or pins, which may be difficult to hold when to be polishing.

Also for small metallurgical specimens / samples which may be difficult to cut into smaller specimens.

A Hot Mounting Press Machine is needed to make a mold of the specimen / metallurgical sample.

It is used for the preparation process before the polishing process for further checks such as Hardness Tester and Microscope.
