Mounting Resin - Mounting Powder

Mounting powder or mounting resin is used to mount small metallurgical specimens / samples such as small bolts or pins, which may be difficult to hold fo polishing process or microscope or hardness testing.

Also for small metallurgical specimens / samples which may be difficult to cut into smaller specimens.

A Hot Mounting Press Machine is needed to make a mold of the specimen / metallurgical sample.

It is used for the preparation process before the polishing process for further checks such as Hardness Tester and Microscope.
